Marcela Sinclair was born in Buenos Aires in 1968. She has a bachelor of Visual Arts from Instituto Universitario Nacional del Arte. Sinclair is a professor of painting at the National school of Fine Arts Prildiano Pueyrredon. Her work has been regularly exhibited in institutional spaces in Argentina since 2005. Her work is conceptual and geometric, focusing on the relationship between ideal geometric models and their concrete realities.  In 2012, Sinclair developed her series of ongoing experimental projects: Time Management y Nueva Socioensayística Micromodélica. The artist lives and works in Buenos Aires.
