Artemisa Gallery is pleased to present A Silent Exchange “Unveiling the Invisible”, a solo exhibition showcasing Lorena Guillén Vaschetti’s work, that will be on view from December 12th to January 31st, 2025.

A quiet ritual. In the woods, the artist moves from tree to tree, observing. With time, it is the whole being that begins to perceive—the trees’ scent, their weight, their presence. One tree is then covered with canvas, and the process of uncovering begins.  

By veiling the tree in canvas, the artist turns from sight to touch, entering a state of heightened attention.  Mostly with eyes closed, through her fingertips, she explores its textures and forms, revealing an essence that remains invisible to the eye. Through her own technique, using pigments, she captures impressions that are both immediate and yet profound.  

The resulting works are abstract forms—open, reflective spaces that become vessels for personal narratives and emotions, allowing each viewer to project their own world onto the work. Figures in motion, landscapes, flames, dynamic gestures.
In this series, the artist delves into the space between seeing and experiencing. Her work invites viewers into an intimate dialogue, where presence and connection transcend the act of observation.
